The 2009 Rocky Mountain Shootout will be hosted by Utah Mother Flickers on Sunday, August 9th in Willard, UT.  The tournament will be the 2nd one hosted by UMF this season.  Last year, the Rocky Mountain Shootout title went to BUSL95's Lenny Foster after he defeated clubmate Eric Garza 2-1 in the final.  UMF's Brian Barnes took 3rd with Jonathan Smith from BUSL95 placing 4th.  BUSL95 duo Armando de Leon and Eddy McLane played in the Mary Jane final, with de Leon winning on shots.  UMF's Paul Barnes and John Williams lost in the Mary Jane semifinals.

    This year, the tournament is coupled with Seattle Sounders FC v. Real Salt Lake on August 8th at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, UT.
